User Login (Active Directory)
Set up Single Sign-on (SSO) so users are automatically logged into the IPW system when they are already connected to the internal network.
Unlike IPW Autologin, which is a kind of “login light,” AD Login ensures that each user can use one personal login across all the organization’s IT systems and applications.
AD Login with Single Sign-on is based on allowing a user to access the IPW system without being asked to log in, as long as the user is already authenticated on the internal network – e.g., a Microsoft 365 environment, Azure, or NTLM.
Single Sign-on therefore validates against a trusted, verified source that recognizes the user.
Key Features:
- Automatic creation and maintenance of users in the IPW system. Username, password, name, email, and user group relations are imported and updated via AD integration.
- Supports various Single Sign-on solutions – including Azure Active Directory, ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), NTLM and others.
- Automatic domain login requires installation on your internal network, and that infrastructure and server setup support user integration and Single Sign-on (SSO).
- No password administration in the IPW system. All user management is centralized.
- Centrally defined security rules
- Easy handling of employee onboarding/offboarding
- Simple documentation for security audits
- Streamlined login process and easy access for all users in the organization
